Abstract

Assembly forming a one-piece safety suit (10) for winter sports and, particularly, for affording protection against avalanches. It includes a certain number of pockets inflated by means of a gas which are securely attached to the chest (16) and to the back (20) of the user, a cap (24) covering the latter's head (22) and sleeves (sheaths) (26, 28) surrounding the user's upper and lower limbs, means being provided for inflating the said pockets which are associated with a manual control (30). Application to winter sports overgarments.

2. Assembly according to claim 1 characterized in that the body of the user is coated with a tracksuit (12) made of gas-tight material and the pockets are formed on said tracksuit in the form of watertight expandable outer walls.
