Abstract

This is a patent of addition to Fr 74.00289 of 4.1.74. and relates to an improved shock-resistant suit for e.g. motorcyclist comprising a structure of elastically deformable adjacent tubes which are interconnected at their ends and housed in a pocket of fabric material, and removalbe rigid elements attached to the structure. MATERIALS Pref. the tubes are made of PVC and enclosed between two panels of polyamide fabric coated with polyurethane, the upper panel which corresponds to the outer visible part of the suit being made of leather. The rigid elements, which may be attached by strips of Velcro, pref. comprises an arch at shoulder level and an ellipsoidal circle at chest level, these two elements being disposed at the front and back of the suit.
