Abstract

Funeral vault is sealed by means of a rigid sealed lining covering all of its internal faces. Excellent sealing of concrete vaults is obtd. preventing penetration by water. The lining is easily placed in position. The internal faces of the lining may be decorated to resemble marble, granite or other natural stone. The decoration may be obtained by the use of printed sheet, fabrics, paper or nonwoven material, or by use of a polyester resin mixed with pieces of stone or rock. The lining pref. consists of separately moulded panels assembled together by immersing grooves in resin baths contg. catalyst. The walls may consist of a rigid foam, or of a flexible plastic sheet or film.
