Abstract

The tank for the fluid contains a stirrer, and is joined by a pipe to a row of spray-nozzles. The pipe incorporates, successively, a filter, a pump, a second filter to which are connected several subsidiary pipes each one of which feeds a particular number of oscillating valves. Each of the valves is situated directly near a nozzle. A manometer is positioned on one side of the pipe, and an adjustable return to the tank for excess liquid is connected to the other side. An electric circuit consists of a battery mounted on the vehicle and joined to an adjustable impulse generator in turn connected to an amplifier. The amplifier feeds groups of solenoids via leads. Each of the solenoids goes with one of the electro-oscillating valves in the branch of the hydraulic circuit.
