Abstract

The container, usually a refrigerator or freezer, is made out of two interconnected skins (1, 2). Fixing clips for internal accessories are located and fastened to the inner skin. Plastic foam is introduced into, and expands to fill, the space between skins, forming an insulating and humidity proof layer. The slides (5) for the shelves (4) are fixed by positioning over the fixing clips and sliding into a locked position. The rear of the slides have T-section grooves into which the heads and the bodies of the fixing clips. The clips are secured to the inner skin by force fitting the feet of the clips into holes in the inner skin, play be removed by riveting or melting the feet.
