Abstract

The door is composed of two thin thermoplastic mouldings, joined together by expanded polyurethane, which fills the space between them. It is shaped as a single large panel with a frame on three sides. The frame the door fits into is composed of two hollow thermoplastic mouldings, which fit together round the opening in the partition wall. They adapt to various partition thicknesses. The half of the frame that the door closes on to, is fastened to the wood lining the partition opening, by means of screws, which are covered by a facing strip pressed into place. A fastening for the second half of the frame is also screwed to the wood, and the moulding clips into place on this fastening and on the first half of the frame.
