Abstract

The sampling station (25) translates, rotates and angularly moves w.r.t. the long axis (Z-Z) of the outlet conduit; all these movements being obtained via a single aperture in the container (1) wall, whereas prior art requires three apertures with attendant risk of leakage etc. Each of these movements is effected independently of the others; external controls break down each movement into at least two related motions, with the angular motion being achieved by a combination of a rotation and a translation followed by a final rotation. The premier sub-motion of rotation is effected by twist grip (16) and micrometric screw (18) conventionally arranged to effect a translation of the internal tube w.r.t. its longitudinal axis (19).
