Abstract

The door has three separate parts; a central leaf (1) half the width of the opening and right and left hand sides (2, 3) their widths being less than half the central leaf. A track (12) is provided in the opening (8) and the central leaf slides in this, having upper and lower tongues to retain it in position. Each side leaf is hinged (4, 5) to the centre leaf but is clear of it and operates as a normal door, with a magnetic catch (6, 7). In use, one or both side leaves are folded back against the central leaf, which can then slide to either side.
