Abstract

Inside the body (1) of the cabinet are two vertical discs (5), one at each end, mounted on central shafts turning in bearings and driven by a belt and pulleys (17, 18) from a motor (14) which may be that used for the refrigeration unit (4). Shelves (9) are fitted between the discs, each one having side plates (10) mounted to pivot freely in bearings (8) around the outer periphery of each disc. As the discs rotate the shelves remain horizontal and are continually brought into view. Along the front edge of each shelf is a plastic flap (11) for price tickets. The complete assembly is enclosed by a transparent front cover (2).
