Abstract

The vessel has a heat resistant and conductive base for cooking purposes, e.g. placing on hot-plate, and conventional walls (10) and a top flange (1) which is suitably engraved or decorated allowing the the vessel to be used for serving. Pref. the base comprises an efficient head conductor (7) sandwiched between corrosion resistant material (8, 9) i.e. an aluminium sheet (7) between two sheets (8, 9) of stainless steel. The walls (10) and edging flange (1) also of stainless steel. The vessle may be pre-heated before it receives any food and thus tends to maintain the hot food at a high temperature.
