Abstract

Panel bonded female perforated plates (5) have two parallel legs (8, 9) whose opposed faces each have a semi-spherical recess (10) for location of a male ball (11) on the end of a horizontal threaded stem (12) joined by a wing nut (14) to a drilled plate (13) which is embedded in and which projects from a sub-frame. For precise panel location male and female elements are assembled on the sub-frame, glue is applied to the rear faces of the female plates and then the panel is positioned and held in place whilst the glue sets. Removal of the panel then results in separation of the male and female parts.
