Abstract

A predetermined quantity of thermosetting resin and hardener are introduced into a pref. tubular mould pref. through inlets along the mould and the mould is spun about its longitudinal axis so that the resin is projected against the wall of the mould to form a tube. When the resin has hardened sufficiently the tube is withdrawn from the mould pref. through a heater to complete polymsn. The tubes are cheap to produce and can be easily joined using the same resin from which they are made. Large dia. tubes can also be easily produced.
