Abstract
An envelope is inflated to produce the core of a tank, which is produced by laying up synthetic resins with reinforcements onto the surface of the envelope. Resins used are preferably polyester, epoxy, phenolic with reinforcement of glass fibres or organic or synthetic fibres. After hardening of the resins the envelope is deflated and withdrawn through a small hole in the wall of the tank. This prevents the need to assemble the tank from sections.
