Abstract

The lock consists of a front plate (1) mounted on a body (2). Passing through the front plate is a bolt (4), the rear of which passes through to the rear of the body. THe rear end of the bolt is guided by a pin (11) as is the front end (9). Between the front pin and the back of the main part of the bolt there is a spring (10). At the top and bottom of the body there are cylinders (15 & 16) into which are fixed the handles for opening the lock. The surfaces of these cylinders are engaged by the ends of the spring.
