Abstract

Posts are of square cross section with a part circular section groove symmetrically disposed on each face. Bars which can be of any depth or length, having necked circular cross section projections which slide into post grooves. This arrangement permits bars to rotate through about 30 deg. and bars are locked in their desired vertical position by appropriate length cylindrical groove filler pieces. Box sockets embodying four cylindrical tenons are set in concrete in excavated holes. A top, horizontal fence post has downwardly projecting end studs which engage in the tops of grooves of respective end posts.
