Abstract

Fixing bolt (3) is embedded in a wall and the portion left protruding (4) has a thread (5). The thread cross section is not symmetrical, having the faces (6) near the wall very steep and the faces away from the wall much less so. The retention cap (9) is provided with radial stiffeners (10) and an elastically deformable hollow core (11). This core has internal ribs (12) which have a smaller internal diameter than the external diameter of the thread, and as a result, when the retention cap is knocked on, the ribs deform elastically and expand again over the faces (6). The cap is prevented from being withdrawn axially can be unscrewed from the fixing bolt.
