Abstract

The two mirrors give a better field of view than is possible when using one mirror and eliminate blind spots. The arrangement consists of a plate (4) rigidly fixed to the vehicle body. This carries a branched support shaft (3) carrying, in turn, spherical seatings (6) and (7). On these are mounted mirrors (1) and (2). Each mirror is capable of considerable adjustment, independently of the other. The shaft (3) may rotate on the mounting bracket and the mirror assembly may be used on any road vehicle.
