Abstract

The wheel suspension (1) carries a rear wheel (2) on a hinged arm (3) at right angles to a hollow rigid element (4) mounted on a pivot (5). The pivot (5) is carried by two flanges (9, 10), the arm being fixed to a part (11) extending through an opening (12) in the hollow element (4). There are stops (14, 13) inside the hollow element. The centre of the suspension arm is inclined relative to the pivot and the hollow in it is at right angles to its pivot. The suspension can also be applied to other types of wheel mounting.
