Abstract

The cap is for use where the stopper is to be punctured by a hypodermic syringe. The metal cap (1) covers the stopper and the top of the bottle. The tear-off flap (3) is outlined by a groove (4). A transparent, convex cover (6) fits over the top and is held by a plug (5) through a central hole. Prising back the convex cover, using the edge (8), and tearing off the metal flap, the stopper is exposed. It can be reclosed by pressing down the transparent cover. The convex cover acts as a magnifying glass helping instructions on the metal cap to be read.
