Abstract

The vehicle has a bumper (2) with shock absorbers (3) in the vehicle body. The bumper (2) has a support (2a) fixed to sleeve (4) and covered with rubber. The shock absorber (3) has an exterior sleeve (7) around a spring, one end of this spring presses on plate (10). A shock absorbant group (11) in the interior (6) of the sleeve (7) presses on plate (10) against the spring. The shock absorbant group has a tapered centre body (12) with a rubber sleeve (14) on the surface of which are friction segments (15) separated by longitudinal grooves. Movement of the segments under load tends to move them together to increase resistance with load.
