Abstract

Thermoelectric pile includes an insulating support p pierced by a series of orifices, uniformly distributed along the length of two opposed lines, parts of a thin film circuit made using a first conducting matl. joining corresponding orifices in the two opposed lines on the one face of the support and a second conducting matl. on the opposite face of the support joining each opening in each line with the next forward opening in the other line, together with devices which can form contacts between the two faces, through the orifices, e.g. Metal pegs or rivets. Device is used e.g. for heat flow meters. Good adhesion can be obtd. between conductor metal and substrate and good contact between pegs and junction points. The pile produced is sturdier than prior art.
