Abstract

The component fixing device is used in conjunction with a plastics circuit board support, to couple the component leads to the printed circuit. It comprises an elongate plate (1) with a row of equally spaced slots (5), for receiving the co component leads. A ridge (6) is formed along one side of the plate (1) and has a rounded surface (16) on the side facing towards the slots (6) and has toothed projection along its top surface. The projection between the two leads of a component is directly in line with one of the slots (5), while the adjacent projection is in line with the spacing between two slots (5).
