At the same time as the insertion of the connecting leads (7) into the openings (8), the holder (5) is introduced by means of holding pegs (pins) (9) into matched mechanical connecting openings in the printed circuit board (4) and, after soldering in a bath, the holder is pivoted through 90 DEG , the holding pins (9) breaking off and the holder (5) being latched, by means of latching hooks (10), to the end of the printed circuit board (4). <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a method for connecting from in a holder with the connecting cables in grooves tten luminescent diodes with connection openings on the lei tracks of a printed circuit board by inserting the connections into the connection openings and then soldering in a bath.

In known methods of the type mentioned above (DE-27 18 442, A 1, DE-GM 76 22 134) the luminescent diodes are also coiled fixed connections in the holder and then the Holder associated with the circuit board, wherein at the same time the connections of the luminescent diodes in connection openings on the conductor tracks of the circuit board be pushed. The soldering then takes place. The Lu mescent diodes are on the side of the other components elements arranged so that a Ver soldering can be done in a bath.

The invention is intended to create a method with which it is possible to use luminescent diodes on the building elements to arrange th opposite side of the circuit board, the Connections of the luminescent diodes in one step with the Connections of the other components are soldered in a bath should be.

This is easily achieved in that the holder simultaneously with the insertion of the connecting cables into the electrical connection openings with holding pins in adapted mechanical connection openings introduced in the circuit board and that after the soldering of the holder is pivoted by 90 ° is, the holding pins break off and the holder by means of  Locking hooks snapped onto the face of the circuit board becomes.

Based on the drawing, this is by an embodiment Procedure explained in more detail.

As the drawing shows, the luminescent diodes 1 , in order to gain space for the plug connections between a plug strip 2 with the plug connections 3 , are arranged with respect to the circuit board level of the circuit board 4 in such a way that they are immersed in the immersion bath when the circuit board 4 is soldered would immerse. In order to provide a simple fastening option of electrical and mechanical type, the luminescent diodes are placed in a holder 5 which is provided with grooves 6 for inserting the connecting lines 7 for the luminescent diodes 1 . The ends of the connecting lines 7 are inserted into corresponding connection openings 8 of the printed circuit board 4 . The holder has breakable holding pins 9 , which are inserted into corresponding recesses in the printed circuit board 4 without making an electrical connection. The position of the holder 5 is indicated by dashed lines. Since the LEDs are now on the other side of the circuit board 4 , the Lei terplatte can be tinned without difficulty and hereby the connections for the connecting lines 7 are made. After break off the holding pin 9 when folding the luminescence diode holder 5 in the operating position automatically; At the connecting lines 7 can slip through corresponding slots in Hal ter 5 , and the holder 5 can engage with the locking hook 10 around the circuit board 4 and assume the position shown in the drawing (fully drawn). The knife-shaped plug-in connections 3 , the modules 11 , and the holder 5 and thus the luminescent diodes 1 themselves and also the printed circuit boards 4 in the upper region are covered by a cap 12 , which leaves space for a plug-in unit (not shown).
