Abstract

A finish grinder for annular workpieces, which allows high precision using automatic feed to one or more stations with the aid of mechanical centring, has the workpieces applied to one or more horizontal flat discs via recesses in a part disc. The flat discs turn about a shaft and themselves set the workpieces into rotation. Two guide elements engaging on the circumference of a workpiece can be pivoted out of the workpiece feed path and act to displace the axis of rotation of the workpieces and respect to the axis of the flat discs. The guide elements can be adjusted with respect to the discs.
