Abstract

The screw compression type electrical terminal, has main part (1) formed in U shape, in each of the parallel sides (3, 4) of the U are rectangular slots (6, 7) into which is fitted a square section nut (8) which carries the clamping screw (11). The distance between the two sides (3, 4) is smaller than the screw head diameter (12). Each side (3, 4) has at the end opposite to the base (2) slots (9, 10) above the slots (6, 7) into which rotates the screw head (12). The unit includes also a tag with ear-piece which retains the tag after insertion through a small groove. On the side cheeks of the U are two pairs of tags.
