Abstract

Closing apparatus such as a curtain for light vane and other similar vehicles consists of a fixed panel, attached to a boot (2), and a flexible curtain (3). Hooks (4) are attached to curtain so that it can be locked in the closed position and also for use when it is opened and closed manually. An automatic roller can be fitted if desired so that when hooks are released, the curtain opens automatically. Openings covered in transparent material can be made in the curtain to improve visibility if required. The curtain may be opened from both sides, the fixed panel may be a polygonal deflector.
