Abstract

The bottle mouth is surrounded by, and sealed at, the seating surface, and has an inserted closure which is frictionally held in a position sealing the bottle until use. A cover which seals the bottle outwardly by means of an inner, annular section, is removable before use, and displaced for removal from its sealing position. The cap, at least partially deformable, is surrounded by the cover, which partially abuts it with the annular section. Preferably the cap is of an elastic material and has a sealing connection for an element abutting its opening. The bottle may also be used for other fluids, or flowing solids.
