Abstract

Portable low chair for agricultural working esp. vine tender, obviates prolonged bending and crouching by supporting the worker in a crouching position and permitting trunk rotation. Two tubular metal enlarged base plated 7 legs 1 locate either side of a worker and support the triangular ends of a wide strip of webbing 9 which locates under the workers posterior. The web seat can pivot about its height adjustable connection 8 to the leg, from which also emanate coiled steel wire 6 and 3 ties onto the workers belt 4, which cause the assembly to lightly grip the wearer, to slide on sitting down and to limit leg inclination.
