Abstract

A wallpapering mechanism has a trough (1) at one end for the roll of paper, and endless belts (5, 7) between which the edge of paper is guided, the paper passing over a raised area under which the motor (17) is housed, with a cutting edge (4) at the top, against which operates a reciprocating cutter (8) incorporating rollers which also feed the paper towards a belt driven paste applicator roller (19) and then the paper is delivered through a slot (30) under the applicator roller. A belt drive (25) on the side operates a pressure roller (29) on the top. An adaptor on the top enables two pressure rollers to be mounted at right angles for use in a corner of a room.
