Abstract

Stability of Na percarbonate in dry bleaching or detergent compsns is improved by adding 0.05-1 (0.1-0.7) wt.% Mg- and/or borate ions (expressed as Mg and/or B) to compsn before addn of Na percarbonate. Mg- and/or borate ions are added as water-sol. Mg salts, alkali or NH4 borates and/or boric acid (cpds. A). Pref. (i) (A) is/are mixed with an aq. suspension of bleaching- or detergent compsn dried and mixed with Na percarbonate, or (ii) an aq. soln of (A) is sprayed on peroxide-free detergent, evaporated and mixed with percarbonate.
