Abstract

The amplifier to control a lighting circuit is controlled by a touch sensitive probe via a detection circuit driven by the probe, and between the detection circuit and the power amplifier is a memorising circuit. The power amplifier is a controlled switch which can be at least one of the following, triac, thyristor, relay or contactor. The controlled switch is driven by a current amplifier such as a sensitive trigger triac or reed relay. The memorising circuit is a two transistor bistable circuit with which is an associated zero reset circuit, consisting on the one hand of two series connected diodes between the base and emitter of one of the bistable circuit transistors, and on the other hand a capacitance and resistance in series, connected to the d.c. voltage supply. The midpoint of the diodes is connected to the midpoint of the capacitance and resistance.
