Abstract

Girder and tube assembly has pairs of parallel I-beams forming girders, in a horiz. plane, which have triangular shaped end pieces which fix the girders at right angles. Tubes are mounted obliquely on top and bottom of the triangular pieces using end plates which fix to two of the triangular sections. Four tubes are mounted above and below the girder junction. The tube end pieces have flanges such that can also be fixed together by rivetting and the webs of the I-beams face each other such that a passage is formed for service cables or pipes.
