Abstract

Curable compsn. is prepd. by mixing (I) 5-20 pts. wt. polymer having a low surface deformation selected from polyalkenyl aromatic thermoplastic materials, and/or a polydiene rubber, which contains 30-100 wt.% conjugated diene and 0-70 wt.% monoalkenyl aromatic monomer; (II) 100 pts. wt. of a mixt. of (a) an unsatd. polyester resin and/or a terminally unsatd. vinyl ester resin, and (b) a monomer copolymerisable with (a), and (III) a stabiliser consisting of a block copolymer of formula Bx-CH2CH2(OCH2CH2)yOH or HO(CH2CH2O)yCH2CH2-Bx-CH2CH2(OCH2CH2)yOH (where B is a monoalkenyl aromatic monomer and/or conj. diene monomer polymerised to a block segment; x is >=25; and y is >=25 esp. 50-250).
