Abstract

The ore such as Fe-, Ni oxide-, Mn- Cr- or Ti ore is mixed with the liq. reducing agent, e.g. heavy and/or crude oil, in amts. of 10-100% of the theoretic amt. required for reducing the ore. The ore mixt. is then roasted in known manner in a rotary kiln shaft furance, or by using the fluidised bed method.
