Abstract

Title compsn contains 0.5% (0.25%) residual solvent and has epoxide no >=75% (80%) of initial value. It is a powder, film or reinforced impregnated sheet contg 25-50% (30-40%) of the epoxide binder, having apparent density 0.20 and compressibility 1.5 contg fibres or length 6-25mm mouldable at 65kg/cm2. The resin and hardener are dissolved in solvent boiling at 30-100 degrees C followed by heating to 205-510 degrees C to evaporate solvent and prevent premature hardening.
