Abstract

A paper is prepd. either by forming a mat from a mixt. of 30-80% polyolefin resin fibres contng. 0.2-5% carbon black and 70-20% cellulose fibres and thermally bonding the resin fibres or by adding 0.1-5 parts of a water-sol. paper reinforcing agent and 0.1-1.5 parts of a microbiocide to 100 parts of a paste contng. 20-80% polyolefin resin fibres contng. 0.2-5% carbon black and 80-20% cellulose fibres, forming the mixt. into a mat and either thermally binding the fibres or using a bonding agent.
