Abstract

A container with detachable lid and central stirring and wall scraping mechanism is placed in an outer block with heater elements in the floor and refrigeration pipes in the walls so that the mix can be heated to pasteurisation temp. and then chilled. An external air compressor delivers compressed air via a germ filter to the container interior periodically. The electrical control circuit for heater, refrigeration compressor and stirred motor includes thermostats for top and bottom limit temps. and a timing relay. Improved food hygiene.
