Abstract

In a frame construction for a refiner treating fibrous cellulose-contg. material, comprising horizontal, longitudinal beams placed on either side of the refiner and upper and down support beams connected to transverse beams mounted at corresp. heights, generally as disclosed in the parent patent the further improvement whereby the horizontal beams together with vertical columns form a regular framework surrounding the refiner alone, the bearings for the drive shafts carrying the grinding discs being installed within the framework. More esp. two grinding disc drive motors are provided mounted on separate foundations outside the framework.
