Abstract

Hot rolling of a block or similar workpiece by passing it through the grooves of rolls of alternately vertical and horizontal support rolls installed in tandem, with the improvement whereby undiluted oil is introduced into the grooves of each vertical roll at the inlet side of the passage formed by the vertical rolls.
