Abstract

The inlet is coaxially situated at one side and the outlet coaxially at the other, the space between the plate and housing constituting the passage between inlet and outlet and containing a series of blades, at least between plate and discharge opening extending over the radial width, the blades are fixed to the housing and/or to the plate, the component(s) to which the blades are fixed being rotated. In a preferred arrangement, blades extend between plates and housing both on the inlet and outlet sides, and the whole assembly rotates inside a fixed casing with a peripheral discharge into a collecting chamber.
