Abstract

A set of complementary mouldings which can be assembled to form the side walls and roof of square or rectangular plan modular rooms. The four primary components are bulbous panels comprising a corner element, two mirror image units with proof overhangs out at 45 degrees and double size wall element with a pointed roof panel. Ancillary panels with a flat or oblique pyramid elevation section may also be used to roof larger areas. The units may be stacked in three dimensional superimposed or partially staggered layers in a framework of posts and beams. Pref. the units are assembled onto a base itself assembled from square composite flat panels with internal insulation. Pref. the basic components are hollow double walled panels of glass reinforced polyester laminates with the cavity filled with mineral wool. Resilient seals may be used between adjacent components. The individual components are relatively easily stacked or nested and transported for assembly on site using bolts, clamps, adhesives or other means into a wide variety of different overall structures.
