Abstract

The module has a floor and ceiling of flame-proofed polyester reinforced with glass fibre and metal sheets and an insulating layer of polyurethane foam, and walls of a laminate of polyester and polyurethane foam. The door and window frames may be wood or metal. One end wall is of trapezoidal form so that when one module is superimposed on another the trapezoidal wall of module to the side seats between the trapezoidal walls of the superimposed modules. A stairway may be provided in the trapezoidal end wall structure. The modules are used on building sites or holiday camps and as temporary dwellings; they are self supporting, require no foundation and can be built into a complex.
