Abstract

Open-end spinning machine supplied with carded fibres from a carding machine is provided with a centrifugal waste collector for removal of waste matter from the carded fibres, the collector in the form of a scroll pipe being disposed at the discharge side of the carding roller and associated with the radially outer wall of the duct supplying the carded fibres to the open-end spinning machine.
