1326864 Fibre feed in open-end spinning machines FRIED KRUPP GmbH 9 March 1972 [10 March 1971] 11111/72 Headings DID and D1N In an open-end spinning machine of a type having a conical opening roller 7 mounted coaxially with and extending into the spinning rotor 2 the edge of the roller 7 from which the opened fibres emerge is provided with a thrower wheel 12 of arcuate radial crosssection to deflect the fibres towards the collecting surface 1 of the rotor 2. This thrower wheel 12 may be detachable or integral with the roller 7.
