Abstract

Castable zn alloy with high creep resistance at 60-150 degrees C comprises 0.05-1% pref. 0.1-0.5% Ti, 0.1-0.5% Ti, 0.1-7-5, pref 3-6% Mn, the rest Zn with purity 99.99%. Alloy may also contain 0.08% Mg, and Ti may be partially replaced by Cr up to 0.2% Cr max. and Mn by Cu up to max 10%.
