Abstract
The injection unit is provided with a controlled circulation of heating fluid through cavities in the cylinder and nose, the cylinder and nose being formed from two separate parts fitting into each other. Fine control of heating allows for variations of flow and different conditions in the nose and the cylinder. Separate heating chambers in the walls of the cylinder and inside the nose have separate entires and exits for heating fluid, brought to headers with control valves on the subside of the cylinder. The cavities may be removable annular grooves.
