Abstract
A temp. sensor causes a shaft to rotate due to temp. change and the shaft moves a needle against a scale. Three discs mounted on the shaft have cut out sections to activate three switches attached to an arm which can be driven arount the shaft by a motor. Two switches control the direction of rotation of the motor, and the third activates an alarm when the shaft rotates at a speed greater than the motor drives the switch arm. Particularly suitable for temp. controls in a nuclear reactor.
