Abstract

PURPOSE:To decide stop position accurately and surely by using a pulse motor and a microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:A gear 43 with slit holes 50, 51 is installed to a splined bearing 39 supporting a splined shaft 38 mounted with a sampling arm 48 and is rotated by a pulse motor 41 which accurately maintains rotating angle by pulses; at the same time, the pulse motor 41 is connected to a control arithmetic memory device 17 consisting of a microcomputer. As a result, when a main power source is turned on, the pulse motor 41 is rotated in one direction by the control arithmetic memory device 17 and rotates the gear 43. When the slit hole 50 or 51 passes, a U-shaped photodetector 52 outputs the signal proportional to the hole length of the slit hole 50 or 51, and this signal causes the control arithmetic memory device 17 to run the pulse motor 41 reversely by the preset pulse number, thereby positioning and stopping the sampling arm 48 in the start position.
