Abstract

A different fibre suspension is fed to each of a number of inlets of a feed tank and the suspension flow under laminar conditions through the feed tank so no inter-mixing occurs, and are deposited on a filtration screen to produce a fabric having discrete layers of different fibres. Multi-layer papers incorporating synthetic and natural fibres are economically produced.
