Abstract

The method comprises providing a toroidal core with an inner winding; coating both with an insulation; electroless coating of the assembly with electrically conductive material; scribing an air gap in the conductive material; electroplating the assembly with copper; insulating the electroplated assembly; and providing an outer winding on the insulated, plated assembly.
